Encroachments removed from Waqf land of Hazrat Mir Mahmood Pahadi

Hyderabad: Waqf Board on Tuesday succeeded in removing encroachments from 16 acre Waqf land of Hazrat Mir Mahmood Pahadi, Attapur. Following the Telangana Waqf Tribunal verdict, Waqf Board with the help of police, demolished unauthorised constructions and took the land under its custody.

Thanks to the special interest taken by Waqf Board Chairman Mohammed Saleem, Commissioner Cyberabad Sandeep Shandilya directed Rajendranagar police to follow court orders. In the presence of police temporary shed and boundary was demolished with the help of JCB machines. Thus the land adjacent to Dargah has again come under the custody of Waqf Board.

Earlier taking advantage of Bonalu holidays, land Mafia has encroached upon 16 acre land and erected temporary shed. It is said that local political party and some leaders of BJP are behind the illegal occupation.
