Theories of Astronomy have been described in the Vedas in such a way that it gives an impression that these theories are the results of continuous measurements and repeated observations. Scientific methodology of the vedic period is the basis of all the modern scientific knowledge. Indian Astronomers later discovered the concepts of “indefinite” and “Zero” without which scientific research and modern knowledge of mathematics were not possible. Even today, the spark of love for scientific research is active with its full brilliance in the minds of lakhs of Indian students who are studying in America. Research programmes of America form its national priorities due to which students from all over the world are attracted to come to America. It is evidenced by the fact that half of Nobel Laureates are either Americans or became American. Importance of Science and its teaching is no exaggeration in the present world because it gives us an opportunity to face universal challenges
