Employees JAC To Hold ‘Chalo Hyd’ on sept 25

Hyderabad, August 13: The Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers, Andhra Pradesh has unanimously resolved to organize a ‘Challo Hyderabad’ programme on September 25 with lakhs of Employees, teachers, workers and pensioners by applying Mass Casual leave. The State Executive meeting held under the Chairmanship of Mr V. Gopal Reddy here today, took this decision.

In a press note, JAC Chairman Mr Gopal Reddy stated that they will organize ‘Udyma Bus Yatra’ with its State leaders in two batches from September 1st to 15 throughout the State to motivate and prepare the cadre for ‘ Challo Hyderabad’ Programme. The main demands of the JAC are: filling up of all vacancies, regularization of leftover contingent employees, part time employees, regularization of Panchayat Secretaries and contract employees, raising of HRA to all district Headquarters to 20 percent, enhancement of HRA to 15 percent at all rural areas, heath cards to all employees with cashless transaction, abolition of apprentice system in appointment of Teachers and other demands.

The JAC also resolved to make success the All India Strike on September 9 as per call given by the Trade Unions of India and AISGF. The JAC demanded the government not to contemplate reduction of the employees in A.P Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation and further demanded to restore the three wage revision benefit withdrawn suo-moto by the government through G.O. Ms. No.24.

The JAC State Executive Committee has condemned incidents like abuse of Joint collector, Khammam by the MLA, Khammam, abuse of Joint Collector East Godavari, by a local politician and Advocate in Kakinada, rude behaviour of MLA, Mr Raj Reddy with Srinivasa Goud, Deputy Commissioner, GHMC and president of Telangana Gazetted officers Association, while distributing House Pattas for the poor.

Mr N. Ananda Rao, Mr K. Narasimha Reddy, M. Janardhan Reddy and Mr K. Venugopal were also present.
