Urdu Computer Centres and libraries run by Minority Welfare Department are deprived of salaries for the past 4 months.
With Ramadan around the corner, fed up with financial crisis, the employees staged dharna at Hajj House Nampally and demanded immediate release of salaries.
178 employees work in 43 computer centres and 30 libraries of Telangana. The centres formed in 1999 were handed over to Minority Finance Corporation a few months ago.
Services of employees were also hired for minority residential schools but the corporation is not concerned to pay their salaries.
