Shamsul Islam,
It is sad that PM of the largest democracy of the world every three months has to remind about his humble origin, personal sacrifices (nation needs to hear from his wife, Yashoda Ben on this issue) and his allergy to ‘occupy chair’.
It does not show his strength but weakness which amounts to EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL of the people who are suffering due to his wrong policies and horrible execution of the same.
He is trying to divert attention from the agony, pain and suffering of the common people who are being treated as if they are the hoarders of black money, financiers of terrorism and indulging in corruption.
As PM he must respond to the following 3 basic questions.
1. WHY WAS SUCH A CRITICAL DECISION EXECUTED DURING A PERIOD WHEN RABI CROP WAS READY TO BE SOWN AND MARRIAGE SESSION WAS TO COMMENCE? FORGET ABOUT MARRIAGES, HAVEN’T YOU PLAYED MISCHIEF WITH THE FOOD SECURITY OF THE INDIANS AS RABI CROP GIVES US WHEAT?
2. WHY ARE BANKS NOT OPENING AS PER THE TIMINGS ANNOUNCED BY YOUR GOVERNMENT AND SHUTTERING DOWN AFTER EVERY 3-4 HOURS FOR WANT OF CASH? WHY ARE COMMON INDIANS WHO WANT RS 2000/4000 OF THEIR OWN MONEY FROM BANKS HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO BEGGARS?
3. YOU TOLD THAT THIS POLICY OF DEMONETIZATION WAS IN-MAKING FOR LAST 10 MONTHS, WHY IS IT THAT MOST OF THE ATMS ARE NON-FUNCTIONAL OR REMAIN OUT OF CASH FOR MOST OF THE DAY?
Asserting that the nation has elected him to fight corruption and questioned if he should not do it, Prime Minister Modi turned emotional on Sunday and said that he left his home and family for the nation.
Earlier on November 8, in his televised address to the nation, the Prime Minister announced demonetisation of Rs. 500 and 1,000 currency notes in a major assault on black money, fake currency and corruption.
He said people holding notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 can deposit the same in their bank and post office accounts from November 10 till December 30.
