Emma Bunton clarifies Spice Girl’s reunion ‘not happening’

Washington DC, Aug 8 : British pop singer Emma Bunton has clarified that her former music band Spice Girl, which was recently rumored of having a reunion, will not reunite for the tour to be held in 2016.

The 39-year-old pop singer said in a recent interview that the English pop girl group, which was formed in 1994, will not reunite, adding that if anything happens in this regard she will make it public, the BBC reported.

Journalist Dan Wootton, who spread the reunion rumours, later tweeted “no official announcement will come until later this year”.

Last week, on ‘The Tonight Show’, another former band member Mel B, who is currently judging a reality show, said that it is the time for the pop group members, who last performed together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, to get back together.
