London : Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has expressed doubt over his future, saying he might not be in charge at the Old Trafford in the upcoming season.
Van Gaal, whose three-year contract with the club expires in 2017, has been under scrutiny due to United’s dip in form this season with the club unlikely to improve on their last season’s fourth-place finish.
Describing himself as a `balanced` person, the Dutchman said that the management should take the decision whether to sack him only after the results of this season.
Van Gaal, however, admitted he had to display some good results as the United manager.
“I cannot predict that when I do not know the facts. First you have to see the facts, I have always said that. The results and the titles and Champions League positions you can only say at the end,” Van Gaal was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Van Gaal’s side are currently sixth in the Premier League table and four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City. They also remain active in the FA Cup. (ANI)
