The CBI special court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on bail petition of South India Finance head for Emaar MGF Land Limited G V Vijaya Raghav to June 21.
The court after hearing the arguments of Vijaya Raghav’s counsel posted the petition for next hearing on June 21.
Earlier, in his bail application, Raghav said the CBI had subjected him to third degree torture while questioning him before the arrest. He also said that the alleged exclusive knowledge about the case was in the form of documents and the same was in the custody of the probe agency. He claimed that he was innocent and had nothing to do with the case.
In the petition, Raghav said it was a great humiliation and disgrace attached to his arrest. He said that he had extended full cooperation to the CBI and disclosed whatever information he had with him. He said he was ready to abide by any condition imposed by the court to grant the bail. (INN)
