Eliminating educational backwardness inevitable to succeed in all walks of life

Hyderabad, November 09: ‘NRIs need to feel their responsibilities towards their country and extend their cooperation for the development of the country with true love and sincerity.’ Mr. Zahid Ali Khan editor Siasat daily expressed these views during his address on the occasion of scholarship distribution function at Indo-British Muslim Education Foundation.

He said on the occasion that it was imperative to focus on imparting higher education to the youth as the world was speeding ahead in competitive field. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan urged the parents to focus on the education of boys besides girls. He said ‘even after 63 years of independence Muslims are backward. To do away with this backwardness, eliminating educational backwardness is inevitable.’
72 students who passed the exams with more than 80 percent of marks were granted scholarships for an amount of one lakh sixty thousand rupees. Dr. Fasih Uddin Ali Khan said that though he resided in London his heart beat for Hyderabad.

He had been making a small effort for the development of students here on his own and would continue these educational activities in the future too. He informed that Indo British Muslim Education Foundation had been issuing scholarships for the past 11 years to encourage students.
