In an unprecedented move, the electricity department on Wednesday disconnected the power supply to the Ministers’ Quarters at Banjara Hills following non-payment of bills by former ministers.
According to sources, the power supply was disconnected after former ministers of Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet failed to clear the dues of Rs 24 lakh to the department. The officials are firm that the power supply would not be restored until they clear their dues. (INN)
