Elections for AP Unani Medical Officers Association (recognised by the government of Andhra Pradesh) for the period of two years were held on February 19, at Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College and Hospital. Nearly 85 percent polling was recorded.
Dr. Mohammed Saleem has been elected as president, Dr. Syed Jawwad Pasha as vice president Dr. A A Khan as general secretary, Dr. Mohammed Mukarram as joint secretary, Dr. Pesh Imam Mohammed Hasan Ahmed as treasurer.
Besides them Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Shareef, Dr. A Saadullah Khan, Dr. Jawwad Mohiuddin Khan, Dr. Lateef Ali Siddiqui, and Dr. Syeda Abidunnisa have been elected as executive members.
