Hyderabad: After the dissolution of TS Assembly, the membership of MIM MLA Mr. Moazzam Khan ceased. He was elected as member of Wakf Board from MLA category.
Sources of Wakf Board informed that he was not invited to attend the Board meeting scheduled to be held on 3rd January. As per rules, he can’t continue as the member of Wakf Board.
Opinion has been sought from Law Department about continuing the membership of Mr. Z.H. Javeed who was elected from Bar Council’s category.
Advocate General of TS opined that election should be held to fill up the vacant post of Wakf Board.
