Election results bring breeze of victory to Congress

New Delhi, October 22: With results of assembly polls of three states, including Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana, having been declared by the Election Commission of India, it is clear that the Congress is returning to power in these states.

Results have brought a breeze of victory to the Congress. The voters in all the three states expressed their faith in the Congress led alliance and voted for it.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the ruling party swept the polls and will form a government on its own. The scenario is more or less similar in Maharashtra where Congress-NCP alliance successfully savoured the victory.

As far as Haryana is concerned the scene is a bit different. The Congress has fallen short of a majority to form the government. The Party is six short of Majority.

Political mercury is soaring and speculations are all time high in political corridors. In Maharashtra, people are curious to know as to who will lead the Maharashtra as race has begun for the top post.

Though the Congress is confidant of forming government in Haryana, political equation may take a u-turn in the nick of time as the Party is seven away from magic figure of 46 required to form the government.
