Mr. Mahboob Alam Khan, in his sensitive statement based on reality said that the most important elections of India were held recently in Uttar Pradesh. As a result of this election, the Governance of Bahujan Samaj Party came to an end and on the other hard, BJP and Congress suffered a major loss.
Samajvadi Party is forming the Govt. on its own. Muslims constitute 20% of the population in UP and from this aspect, the Muslim votes are very important from political point of view. Congress made an attempt to get Muslim votes. It even announced 4.5% reservation for the Muslims. After the declaration of these results, every party expressed its opinion and confessed that the Muslims rejected Congress and B.S.P. both. Muslims unitedly voted Samajwadi Party. Ms. Mayavathi also admitted that the major cause of her party’s defeat is that Muslims didn’t vote her party enblock.
Muslims also rejected Congress which reflects the political awareness of the Muslims. The reality is that the Muslims are slowly becoming more aware of the political situation day by day. Muslims will definitely vote a political party which will do justice with them.
Mr. Mahboob Alam Khan told that it is fact that the attitude of the Congress with the Muslims was very much irresponsible, be it the case of Babri Masjid or the Wakf properties or atrocities of the police.
The dramatic attitude of the Congress leaders for the past three months has been very interesting and ridiculous. When Mr. Dig Vijay Singh said that Batla House encounter was wrong the Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram justified it senior leader of the Congress Mr. Salman Khursheed told that on seeing the photographs of Batla House encounter, Ms. Sonia Gandhi had shed tears. Mr. Dig Vijaya Singh denied that no such incident took place. It is quite evident that for the sake of elections Congress leader can tell lies. Muslims could comprehend this deceit and very skillfully they turned the table against Congress.
Muslims are the respectable citizens of India and Govt. is responsible for their lives and properties. It is obligatory that the Govt. which was formed with the votes of Muslims should take care of them.
It is regrettable that the Congress which took maximum advantage of the Muslim votes, exploited the Muslims. Killings and atrocities on the Muslim youths are being continued. Destruction of Wakf properties has become a routine affair. It looks as if the Wakf properties are meant only for Congress leaders.
By elections are going to be held soon in Telangana area. Muslim should exercise their votes using their political awareness. Innocent Muslim youths were arrested and fake cases were booked against them in connection with Makkah Masjid Bomb blast case. The young son of a Muslim cleric was shot dead by the police. Congress MP of Vijayawada Rajagopal usurped the Wakf property of Lanco Hills. Muslims can’t forget all these. Muslims should remember that so long as the political awareness of the Muslims is not developed, it is not possible to prevent conspiracies and atrocities against them.
Inviting the attention of the Muslims, he questioned, whether the Muslim would vote for those who sent their youths to jail and continued atrocities?
Will the Muslims vote for those who killed two innocent Muslims in Batla House encounter case?
He appealed to the Muslims of Telangana that so long as Congress and Congress leaders do not apologize the Muslims for the wrongs they have done to the Muslim community, Muslims won’t have any kind of relations with Congress and Congressmen.
The Muslims of Telangana should follow the footsteps of the UP Muslims. Telangana is our land. The footsteps of our forefathers are on this land. It is obligatory on the part of the Muslims to vote only those parties who support the cause of Telangana and defeat the Congress leaders.
He appealed to the Muslims of Mahboobnagar to vote for Mr. Syed Ibrahim to gain victory for him.
