New Delhi: After the world is shocked with Cambridge Analytica scandal and Facebook’s data breach, the Election Commission today it would not stop just because of the data breach which is a reality in the Digital world and will continue its social media policy.
Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat said “We have to use the evolving technology to the best of voters and democracy. We have to prevent risks while using technology.”
When asked about its partnership with Facebook, he said the Election Commission is rethinking its partnership with Facebook since the Cambridge Analytica scandal, NDTV reported.
