Tikamgarh: A 65-year-old man was today dragged out of a bus and shot dead by two unidentified men at Sakera crossing in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The motorbike-borne assailants stopped the bus on Jhansi-Tikamgarh road and climbed in. One of them shot at Bhagwandas Yadav, a passenger, but missed.
Then the duo dragged Yadav out and shot him in the chest, killing him on the spot, said inspector L P Yadav of Prithvipur police station.
Bhagwandas was returning to Orchha town after attending a hearing at Tikamgarh district court.
Further probe is on, police said.
