Jaipur: Elaborate security arrangements have been made across Rajasthan ahead of Holi Festival on Sunday and Monday.
Additional police force has been deployed in all districts to maintain law and order during the festival of colours, said ADGP (law and order), NRK Reddy.
He said that battalions of Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) have been deployed in districts to keep miscreants at bay.
We are in constant communication with all Range IGs and district SPs on force deployment issues to avoid any untoward incident, he added.
Meanwhile, Governor Kalyan Singh and state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje greeted people on the eve of Holi.
In his message, Singh said that Holi is the festival of happiness.
It helps connecting people of all castes and religions.
Raje also greeted people saying the festival shows diversity of our culture and tradition.
She urged people to celebrate the festival with brotherhood and harmony.
