Elaborate security arrangements are being made by the Hyderabad City Police for the “Samaikhyandhra Shankaravam” being held by the YSR Congress party at LB Stadium on October 26.
Addressing a press conference here, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma informed that in addition to the City Police personnel, as many as 34 Platoons of Andhra Pradesh Special Police and 16 companies of Para-military forces would be deployed across the city to prevent any untoward incident. In addition, nearly 1800 policemen would be spread across the meeting venue to keep an eye on trouble makers.
Anurag Shamar said that the Hyderabad City Police have been kept on alert. He warned of stern action against those who try to disturb law and situation in the city. (INN)
