Elaborate security arrangements are being made for the special session of the State Legislative Assembly to be held from November 30.
Talking to reporters after attending a review meeting with Assmebly Speaker Nadendla Manohar in the Assembly premises here on Tuesday, City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said that like previous sessions, multi-tier security arrangements would be made for the session. He said all precautions were being taken for the smooth conduct of the special session on November 30 and December 1. He said prohibitory orders would be enforced around the radius of assembly building and no protest or agitations would be allowed.
However, when asked about protests at Gun Park, the Commissioner said such programmes would be allowed with prior permission and certain limitations.
Besides Anurag Sharma, several senior officials were also present in the Speaker’s review meeting. (INN)
