Hyderabad: In India, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on 5th June 2019. However, it has to be confirmed by the Moon Sighting Committee.
It may be mentioned that Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries celebrated the Eid today.
In Hyderabad, the Moon Sighting Committee (MSC) has asked the Muslims to report the sighting of the Moon on the phone.
It may be noted that the MSC holds its monthly meeting under Majlis Ulama-e-Deccan. Maulana Syed Mohammad Qubool Badshah Quadri Shuttari, President MUD, chairs the session.
The date of Eid-ul-Fitr will be updated once declared by the MSC.
