New Delhi, November 07: Eid-ul-Azha or Festival of Sacrifice will be celebrated in the national capital on November 17.
This was announced by Maulana Mufti Mohammed Mukkaram Ahmed, the Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid tonight after sighting of the moon of Eid.
Eid-ul-Azha or the Festival of Sacrifice is celebrated by Muslims across the world to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to God.
