JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has let their employees have a bit of fun by extending Eid Al-Fitr holidays by one week, till July 9 instead of July 1.
Saudi Press Agency announced the holiday extension on Wednesday after the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef replaced with Mohammed bin Salman, the previous deputy crown prince.
All the government employees are going to start their holiday season on Sunday. As per the previous royal directives, the Eid holidays, which started on June 15, were supposed to end on July 1 and employees to resume work on July 2 but now the employees are expected to resume on July 9.
