Hyderabad: Students’ Union of English and Foreign Languages University registered its peaceful protest against the disciplinary action taken against 16 students. The Union demanded the action taken against the students should be withdrawn. The Union is making an attempt to get its demand resolved through peaceful agitation and cultural activities but the university officials have taken action against 11 students for allegedly participating in violent and non-academic activities.
It may be noted that university officials had suspended the admissions of 8 students and cancelled the fellowships of four students.
