A student of The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) on Sunday lodged a complaint with police that she was drugged and gang raped by her college mates.
In her complaint, the 23-year-old victim alleged that her fellow students committed the heinous crime on October 31. The victim said she was raped by the two accused at one of their rooms located at Basheer Hostel on the EFLU campus on the night of October 31. The OU police registered a case and plunged into action. They arrested two students. However, the EFLU students are demanding that the police arrest all the culprits in the case immediately.
The accused were identified as Nitin, 21, a Journalism student and his friend Raj, a former student of the EFLU. The victim has been sent for a medical examination. The accused will be produced before the court on Monday, the police said. (NSS)
