With the measures taken by Ministry of External Affairs regarding Hajj baitullah, it seems that Ministry of External Affairs wants to make a steep hike in Hajj expenditure. With the massive hike in Hajj expenditures for the Hajj aspirants leaving for Hajj through Hajj Committee, the Ministry of External Affairs has also indirectly made a steep hike in the expenditures of Hajj aspirants, going to Hajj through private tour operators.
The Ministry of External Affairs has cancelled permission to 380 private operators for not fulfilling its conditions. With the cancellation of permissions of 170 tour operators last year several Hajj aspirants had to go for Hajj spending more than double expenses. This year permission of 380 private tour operators have been cancelled which may cause steep hike in expenditure of Hajj 2012.
The private tour operators whose permission has been cancelled, includes more than 27 operators of Andhra Pradesh.
