AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said efforts were being made to make the State first in Swachch Bharat program in the country.
Participating in Swachch Bharat program orgamised in Guntur on Gandhi Jayanthi Day, Chandrababu Naidu said it was responsibility of every citizen to keep the villages and State clean. “People should adopt their villages and try to make them an ideal for others”, he added.
The Chief Minister also called upon people to contribute for keeping their villages clean. He hoped that the government would provide toilet facilities in every village of the State. Naidu said 12 power projects would be set up in the State and 77 per cent of garbage would be supplied to these projects to produce power from wastage. (NSS)
