Efforts on to ensure accommodation in Rubat for Hajj pilgrims

State Hajj Committee is trying to pull out all the stops to ensure accommodation for Andhra Pradesh Hajj pilgrims in Hyderabadi Rubat in Makkah Moazzama. Efforts are on to persuade the NAC and the Rubat caretaker to resolve the dispute in the interest of the pilgrims. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor has sent separate letters to HEH the Nizam Auqaf Committee (NAC) and Caretaker Rubat requesting them to settle the ongoing controversy on accommodation in Hyderabadi Rubat without delay, so that Hajj pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh could avail the facility this year.

Thanks to the cold war between the NAC and the Rubat caretaker, on the issue of selection of Hajj pilgrims Andhra Pradesh pilgrims were denied accommodation last year.

It must be noted that the Hyderabadi Nizam has a capacity of 300 pilgrims. Since the accommodation is free, each pilgrim selected can save around Rs. 40000. The cold war between the Nizam Awqaf Committee (NAC) and the Rubat caretaker, is depriving the pilgrims of their rightful due.
