Efforts to disrupt peace, part of well-orchestrated plan: Aziz Pasha

Alleging that the state government and department of police failed in curbing the spate of recent communal incidents, former Rajya Sabha MP and senior communist leader Syed Aziz Pasha told that the unscrupulous elements are trying to disrupt peace of the city in a well-orchestrated manner for quite some time. And despite being aware of this the police administration’s criminal silence is emboldening the miscreants for putting their plans into action.

Declaring the expansion and construction work at the Bhagya Laxmi temple abutting the historical Charminar as illegal, Aziz Pasha said that as per the regulations of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), no construction work or mining operation can be carried out upto 200 meters around protected monuments. Despite this expansion and construction of temple by drilling hole in Charminar is deplorable.
