As part of the efforts for additional funds to Andhra Pradesh from National Minority Finance Corporation, Commissioner Minority Welfare Andhra Pradesh, Mr. M A Waheed will leave for New Delhi on March 7. He will meet officials of National Minority Finance Corporation and Minority Welfare Ministry and submit his claim regarding Andhra Pradesh share in central schemes.
It must be noted that efforts are on to obtain Rs. 150 to 200 crore from central schemes for minorities especially students of Andhra Pradesh. Minority welfare minister Syed Mohammed Ahmedullah and Principal Secretary Minority Welfare I Rani Kumudini have wrapped up their first round of talks with officials of Minority Welfare Minister in this connection.
