(Siasat News) In the next general elections, Muslims and other minorities should exercise their votes unitedly in favour of secular candidates to check saffron brigade. A seminar was held by A.P. State Minorities Commission and Muslim Empowerment Council of India at Jubilee Hills on Sunday. The speakers discussed the latest political situation and challenges faced by the Minorities. Mr. Abid Rasool Khan, Chairman A.P. State Minorities Commission, noted lawyer, Mr. Shafiq-Ur-Rahman Mohajir, Prof. Kancha Illaiah, Mr. Mir Inayath Ali Baqari (TRS), Mr. Shaik Afzaluddin (Congress), Prof. P.L. Veshwar Rao and others addressed the gathering. The speakers urged the need for the Muslims and other Minorities to elect maximum number of their candidates for Assembly and Parliament. Mr. Abid Rasool Khan that when he is participating as the spokesmen of Congress in National T.V. channels, he is able to assess that an organized conspiracy is being hatched to divide the Muslims. Some of the persons are telling him that in Majority concentration areas the success of persons belonging to Majority community is guaranteed because the Muslims do not flood their candidates in such areas and also they do not cast their votes in such areas. He told that he appeals to all the political parties to provide maximum representations to Minorities.
Mr. Shafiq-Ur-Rahman Mohajir told that any section of the society which is deprived of fundamental rights is treated as backward and is counted as a Minorities community. Mentioning the atrocities and injustices meted out to the Muslims, he told that Muslims should struggle to get justice and present their voice for their rights in the portals of Assembly and Parliament. He further told that it is not possible to constituted a health society unless all the weaker section fights for their rights unitedly.
Prof. Kancha Illaiah told that Saffron forces are making an attempt to divide Minorities to get power. He told that Dalith-Muslim unity is the need of the hour which ensures social justice. Prof. Veshwar Rao, Ms. Jaswin Jairath and others addressed the seminar.
