There is a need for effective implementation of minority reservation in Andhra Pradesh in education and employment. Complaints are received regarding non-implementation of 4% reservation in government jobs recruitments. Standing Committee on Welfare of A.P. Assembly and Council should recommend government to ensure 4 % reservation of minorities in government recruitments as well as temporary and outsourcing recruitments.
Congress MLC Farooq Husain submitted a comprehensive memorandum regarding the proposals to be included in the report to be submitted to the speaker by Standing Committee chairman.
He claimed that if the government seriously implements reservation, minorities will greatly benefit in employment sector and educational field.
