Effect of Siasat News – Ms. Asma and Ms. Najma rehabilitated after six years

(Siasat News) On 8th February 2007, a pathetic incident occurred in a house in Bharath Singh Nagar, Saroornagar in which the drunkard father of 2 daughters had left them starving. Ms. Asma and Ms. Najma have been starving for a long time and there was no one who take care of them. A report was published in Siasat after which Jamaet-Ulema provided Rs. 30,000/- and Mr. Hafiz Irfan, Project Manager of IMRC trust provided Rs. 1,90,000/- for the construction of house for them.

These two girls who were starving were shifted to Osmania Hospital by the local residence of the area. They were treated there for 21 days. Later they were shifted to a Hindu Ashram on 21st August 2012. The Collector of Hyderabad had imposed 2 conditions for shifting them from the hostel. He had put a condition that they should have their own house and their marriage should be arrange. Local residents under stewardship of Mr. Faqeer Mohammed and his colleagues fulfilled these conditions.

Ms. Asma is a handicapped person where as Ms. Najma is normal. They were living in Kastura Gandhi Ashram in Langar Houz. The local residents constructed the house and brought them back to the locality. It is expected that very soon appropriate matrimonial alliances for these two girls would also be arranged. The local residents praised the efforts of Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, former Rajya Sabha, M.P., IMRC trust and Jamat-e-Ulema for helping these two destitute girls.
