Educational and economical strength with effective strategy, needs of the hour

Hyderabad, November 02 (Siasat News): The story of Ishrat’s encounter narrated by her sister at a gathering at Siasat’s MHJ Hall with people from all walks of life present, was an eye opener for those who are always bothered with smallest of trouble facing them.

At this function, according to the intellectuals of the society, it is essential to strengthen economically and educationally so as to get rid of the allegations on Muslim community as terrorist and safeguard our own dignity.

The function was conducted on Saturday dated 31.10.2009 at 3.00 pm and a large number of people turned up to hear the hair raising encounter details. A cheque of Rs. 1.50 lacs was handed over to Shameema Kausar, mother of late Ishrat Jahan.

Moreover, people gathered there also contributed in cash and a total amount of Rs. 2,24,000 was handed over to Ishrat’s mother by cheque.

Many girl students and women met Shameema Kausar and sympathized with her. In his address, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan said that whenever, Muslims from any state or city are in trouble, the people of Hyderabad always show their solidarity and come forward with their helping hand.

Whether it is Kashmir’s disastrous earthquake or the genocide of Muslims in Gujarat, the people of Hyderabad always showed their generosity. A hospital was constructed in Kashmir.

Those Muslim youths, who are detained in false cases, Siasat is trying to bail them out. In fact, many youths are already bailed out and those who are still behind the bars, efforts are on for their early release.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan recalled the case of constable Abdul Qadeer, who after spending 19 years in jail, still waiting for his release.

Contrary to this, a CRPF jawan was given bail within six months after he had shot down a Muslim Additional DGP. He also gave Salwa’s reference that wanted to become a pilot and after seeing her enthusiasm, all the expenditure for her pilot course would be borne by Siasat.

As far as the Raddi collection is concerned, he was a bit confused in the beginning, but he saw the tremendous response after the ad was published for the donation of waste paper.

This amount is now utilized for the marriages of the girls of the deprived section of the society. Renowned columnist Zafar Agha also spoke on this occasion.
