Chandigarh, April 14: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced to set up a memorial for B R Ambedkar at Kurukshetra.
During the state-level celebrations of Ambedkar Jayanti at Kurukshetra, he said educating children would be the true tribute to the Dalit icon as it could help realise his dreams of equality and prosperity.
Hooda also announced to set up ‘Ambedkar Bhawan’ at Kurukshetra as per the aspirations of the people and said the biggest contribution of Ambedkar was a sense of self-respect among the people of underprivileged sections he helped develop.
