Edinburgh’s street evacuated over suspicious package

Edinburgh: The main street of United Kingdom’s Edinburgh was evacuated after a suspicious package was found in a building on Thursday.

“We received a report of a suspicious package having been received at business premises on Princes Street at around 12.30 pm today,” tweeted Edinburgh Police.

The police are investigating the case. The source and the owner of the package are yet to be ascertained.
Notably, a suspicious item was also recovered at the University of Glasglow on March 6.
Further details are awaited.
