Authorities of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Sunday visited the Chanchalguda jail to question the accused in the OMC, Emaar Properties and Jagan assets’ cases.
It may be mentioned here that the CBI Special Judge’s Court granted permission to the ED to interrogate the accused in the jail.
It is learnt that the ED authorities, who were given only 15 days for interrogation, have started questioning B V Srinivasa Reddy of the OMC and former IAS officer Srilakshmi and former Mining Department director Raja Gopal on Sunday. The interrogation continued till 5 pm.
ED authorities will be questioning Nimmagadda Prasad, Brahmananda Reddy and suspended IAS officer BP Acharya also in the jail in connection with Jagan assets case on Monday. (NSS)
