The Enforcement Directorate has issued notice to the Jagati Publications vice chairman Vijaya Sai Reddy, who is second accused in the disproportionate assets case against the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. The ED has asked him to appear before it on October 29.
It may be mentioned here that the ED which has become active in the investigation into the assets case is likely to shift Jagan to the Tihar jail in New Delhi, so that he could be easily accessed by the ED’s sleuths. As ED has directed Vijaya Sai Reddy to come to Delhi, speculations about Jagan being shifted to Tihar also gained momentum. As ED has already started attaching properties in Jagan case, it is being said that the ED would seek court’s permission to shift him to Tihar so that he could be conveniently questioned.
Meanwhile the CBI special court has heard Jagan, OMC accused Gali Janardana Reddy, Brahmananda Reddy and Srinivasa Reddy through video conference and extended their remand till November 8.
Meanwhile Vijaya Raghava, accused in the Emaar case who has recently come out on bail has urged the court to relax he conditions of his bail. (NSS)
