ED grills Vijay Sai,says he gave details of investments into Jagan companies

Vijaya Sai Reddy, vice chairman of the Jagati Publications and second accused in the disproportionate assets case of the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, was on Tuesday questioned by the authorities of the Enforcement Directorate.

Speaking to the media after the questioning, the auditor said he had given particulars of investments into companies owned by Jagan including Jagati Publications and Janani Infra. He said the authorities had posed many questions to him and he had answered all of them in detail. He said he would once again appear before the ED authorities on November 30. He said his replies were recorded by the authorities.

It is learnt that the ED authorities had questioned Vijaya Sai Reddy on the basis of the second charge-sheet of the CBI in the assets case. Reports suggest that ED could attach some more properties, based on the information given by Vijaya Sai Reddy. It may be recalled that the ED had already attached properties worth Rs. 52 crores in the case.
