Authorities of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday served notices on YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is facing charges of illegally amassing wealth, in the Chanchalguda jail itself.
The CBI court has issued notices to Jagan on the petition filed by the ED seeking permission to question him. As Jagan’s lawyer has refused to take the notices, the court has directed the ED authorities to serve them on Jagan in the jail itself. Later ED officials have gone to the Chanchalguda jail and served the notices through the jail authorities on Jagan.
