Eco Ganesha (environmentally friendly) idol making competition was held at GITAM University Hyderabad Campus on Tuesday. As part of this competition about 200 students were participated. This was initiated by a group of students three years back and continuing every year to encourage environmentally friendly activities among students.
Prof. N. Siva Prasad, Director GITAM University, Hyderabad campus appreciated all the students who participated in this event. Prof. Ch.Sanjay, Principal and DVVSR Varma, Resident Director distributed prizes and certificates to the participants. Dr. Nagendra Kumar, event coordinator, students and faculty were also present in the event. (nss)
