The Election Commission of India on Thursday issued notification for the elections to fill six seats of Telangana Legislative Council and four seats of Andhra Pradesh Council by MLAs.
As per the notification, the last date for filing nominations will be May 21. While the nominations will be scrutinised on May 22, the last date for withdrawal of candidatures will be May 25. Polling will be held on 1st June and counting of votes will commence on the same day at 5 PM. (INN)
