eCdemy-PTU Nalanda to impart digital marketing certified professional (DMCP) program

New Delhi, Nov 9: Haryana based eCdemy and Chandigarh based PTU Nalanda, a constituent college of Punjab Technical University has entered into a partnership to impart ‘Digital Marketing Certified Professional’ (DMCP) courses. The DMCP program will be India’s first digital marketing program, which will impart twelve (12) essential verticals of digital marketing techniques with an option to specialize in one vertical.

The first batch of DMCP will commence from November 16, 2015 at PTU-Nalanda’s Mohali Campus. The program will offer part-time weekend programs, which will run for ten (10) weeks. The program is designed by renowned digital marketing experts from Canada led by John Foreman and Axel Kuhn who are the creators and lead instructors of e-Business and e-Commerce Certification Program offered by University of Toronto, Canada.

The DMCP program will support practitioners, managers, entrepreneurs in creating the fundamental knowledge and specialized skill-set needed to lead the digital marketing initiatives with a focused approach, creating integrated strategies to drives results in every business.

In India, e-Business and e-Commerce industry is growing at 50 percent Compound Annual Growth Rate ( CAGR), however the Indian youth isn’t well equipped, skilled and educated for this opportunity. To bridge this gap, DMCP program has been designed for those aspiring to become digital marketing professionals or those looking to upgrade their skills in digital marketing domain and adapt to this new way of doing marketing.

DMCP program is a three course program, where module one lays down the foundation of marketing. The aim is to equip the students with the skills required to manage the entire digital marketing gamut. This course is a one step ahead as it allows the students to choose specialization in one of the core areas of digital marketing. Currently, three specializations are available on Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Web Analytics.

In addition to DMCP certification, students are also prepared for Google certification in Adwords, Display and Analytics. (ANI)
