Election Commission of India today clarified that Exit poll results may be disclosed on May 12. The EC given permission to disclose the results of exit polls only after 6.30 pm on May 12, when final phase of general elections will be completed. It may be noted that it has served notices against former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal and others who violated code of conduct for divulging poll results in advance. (NSS)
