Even as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was grappling to come out of ditch of cash for vote scam, Election Commission of India today directed Telangana ACB to go ahead with the case.
With this, the controversial turned issue of cash for vote scam has taken a new turn and a twist only to increase the fears of the Telugu Desam leaders.
It seems that the EC writing a missive to the ACB has given strength to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to get arrested his AP counterpart Chandrababu Naidu. The ACB has already served notices to two TD leaders SV Veeraiah and V Narender Reddy and grilled the latter today for several hours.
According to informed sources, the EC has written a letter to ACB Director General AK Khan to continue the investigation to unravel the truths and bring to light those involved in the cash for vote scam.
ACB officials reportedly confirmed that they have received a missive from the EC directing them to find a logical end to the case and unravel the truths in the scam. (NSS)
