Telangana Finance Minister was injured when the car he was travelling in turned turtle near from Karimnagar on Saturday evening.
The accident occurred when Etala was going to Karimnagar from Huzurabad. While the minister’s convoy was about 12 kilometres away from Karimnagar, the bullet proof car in which Eatala was travelling, lost control and turned turtle. Besides Eatala, two other persons and driver were also injured in the accident. They were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital in Karimnagar.
“All of them are stable. The minister did not receive any serious injury. There is nothing to worry about,” said TRS MP B Vinod Kumar who was present at the hospital.
It may be mentioned that Eatala had a miraculous escape on May 18, when the bullet proof car, in which he was supposed to travel, met with an accident near Metpally of Karimnagar district on Monday. Instead of travelling in his official car, Etala boarded the car of Lok Sabha MP Vinod Kumar, to attend a marriage function. A few minutes later, Etala’s car, which was part of the convoy, lost control and hit a tree. (INN)
