Early polls to benefit opposition: Bhatti

Hyderabad: Stating that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao needs BJP and MIM’s support, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that KCR was afraid of defeat if he continued with both the party simultaneously. KCR was going to early elections thinking that his mask may be slipped from his face, he remarked. He said that the early elections were good for opposition parties and made it clear that the Congress party was ready for elections whenever they may be conducted.

In chitchat with the scribes here on Tuesday, Bhatti said that the Congress party would face elections they may come simultaneously or separately. He said that KCR was in hurry for the alliance with the BJP.

He said that the party selection committee will look after the selection of candidates and opined that the survey results were key for the selection of candidates. He alleged that the KCR government passed four and half years time by not giving ration cards. He said that the farmers were facing losses severely due to lack of beneficiary prices to their produce. He alleged that the state government failed to spend the revenue systematically.

The TRS government destroyed the existing water distribution system in villages for the sake of Mission Bhagiratha scheme, he said and alleged that the people didn’t get water, jobs but the public exchequer became dry in KCR’s regime.
