Cine star Akkineni Nagarjuna has opined that one could escape from death due to cancer if one recognizes it in early stage.
Participating in Cancer Awareness Program organized by the KIMS Hospital here on Saturday, Nagarjuna felt the patients would win over the fatal cancer disease if they live with confidence. He said the first Sunday of June every year would be observed as National Cancer Survivors’ Day every year.
On the occasion, KIMS Hospital management organized the program to stand by those suffering from cancer. It said the KIMs and those who won over the fatal disease will extend support to those suffering from cancer lonely. (NSS)
