Today students need guidance regarding good colleges and courses to succeed in the exams. Knowledge of what is counseling and what is the admission process is compulsory. These views were expressed by Prof. Abdur Rahman (Agriculture University) here at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat premises addressing a career counseling seminar and said that students and parents can be provided guidance by organizing this kind of programmes.
He stressed that generally students are inclined towards engineering and medicine only while there are several other courses like agriculture, horticulture and veterinary science which are job oriented courses.
Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui gave the details of various courses.
