The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be held on May 22 and the results will be announced on June 2.
According to EAMCET co-convener K Eshwar Prasad, elaborate arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of the test. The candidates can download the hall tickets online from May 8. Compared to last year, there has been an increase of about 8,000 applications for medical stream. However, the applications for engineering stream have dropped by nearly 10,000.
Eshwar Prasad asked the candidates to reach the examination centres well in advance. He said even one minute delay would not be allowed. Further, he said adequate arrangements are being made to stop malpractices. (INN)
