The Telangana Government on Tuesday scrapped Eamcet-2 and announced dates for conducting the test afresh. Accordingly Eamcet-3 would be held on September 11.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had on Tuesday afternoon received the CID report on the question paper leakage. After a review, he said that the EAMCET-2 leakage had all-India ramifications. The chief culprits operated from Delhi.
The Chief Minister said that six of those involved in the leak have already been arrested and promised of stern action against all those involved in the scam.
The State Government has appointed Prof. Yadaiah of JNTU Hyderabad as the Eamcet-3 Convener. The test will be held on September 11 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Prof Yadaiah committee will decide all the details about the examination.
Sources informed that the students need not apply afresh to undertake the test and accordingly, they can download the earlier hall tickets and appear for the test. (INN)
